KP…does it stand for kinda perfect? We think so!
KP arrived from West Virginia in late June and now that he has mastered home life, he is looking for his forever family.
KP is a large boy and full of personality. He has mastered his leash manners and loves taking walks with his foster Mom because there is a lot of activity to scope out along the route. As he passes other walkers, he loves to be recognized and will eagerly greet anyone along the way to say hello. He is comfortable with cars passing and the noises of lawn mowers and all other things he encounters. He is not reactive to other dogs or any wildlife that he sees and his foster Mom thinks that he would do just fine with other dogs or a cat in the house.
At home KP has figured out how to navigate stairs…especially if there is a treat waiting for him! He has good dinner manners as he does not eat fast nor look to others bowls to steal any food and after dinner time all he wants to do is snuggle up and look loving up at you in hopes you’ll give him a gentle ear scratching to help him doze off next to you.
This boy would do well in a home with an active family as he loves his walks and being able to scope out everything going on out in the world. Since he is a larger boy, we think older kids would be a better fit as he does not realize his size when he’s trying to come up to you for a kiss or settle in next to you.
All of this makes him a kinda perfect companion…he’s ready and waiting for you!!!
