Meet Kane: The Brindle Gentleman Ready for His Forever Home

Looking for a “diamond in the rough” who is already a polished gentleman? Meet Kane, a stunning 2-year-old brindle Greyhound who is ready to steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch).

Kane is the definition of a velcro dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to be by your side through thick and thin, he’s your guy!

Kane absolutely adores people and gets along famously with the other Greyhounds in his foster home and once he’s comfortable with his surroundings, he walks like a dream.

 With his calm, sweet temperament, Kane has all the makings of an incredible therapy dog, but he needs his privacy to “do his business” so a securely fenced yard is required. He just won’t “go” on leash.

While Kane has been profiled as not cat-safe, his foster notes he shows more curiosity than prey drive when seeing small critters outside. He may surprise everyone if paired with a very confident cat that isn’t afraid to set firm boundaries—but for now, a cat-free home is the safest bet.

He thrives on human interaction and would love a home where people are around often and ideally love to have other hounds to romp around with.
