Kane is a stunning 2-year-old brindle and a true gentleman. He absolutely loves people, gets along wonderfully with the resident greyhounds in his foster home, and walks nicely on leash once he’s familiar with his surroundings.

While Kane has been profiled as not cat-safe, he shows curiosity rather than strong prey drive when spotting squirrels or ducks outside. That said, with a confident cat that isn’t afraid to set boundaries might surprise us.

Kane is very much a Velcro dog who thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he has plenty of time with his humans and, ideally, other hounds. He also happens to be one of those special greyhounds who won’t “do his business” while on leash, so a securely fenced yard is a must.

Kane has the temperament to make an incredible therapy dog. Whoever welcomes this diamond in the rough into their home will truly have a very special companion.
