Kingston

Kingston is one of the most happy 3 year old greyhounds that you will have the pleasure of meeting. Everybody is this boy’s friend and he has no problem giving hugs – whether you want it or not!!

Kingston is most definitely small dog safe and has met two different cats and seems to do fine with both. He does not chase them and he got smacked by one and now really just doesn’t want anything to do with them. He would likely do OK with children, but because of his jumping tendencies and his size, it would likely be best to have him around kids 12 and older.

Kingston is definitely an active greyhound and would prefer to be out and about rather than living sedentary. While he does have his greyhound quirks and does love to sleep, this boy would make a great hiking partner or a great friend to a shy greyhound.

Kingston is not scared of much and loud noises do not bother him. He does get a tad bit too excited sometimes and will slip on shiny floors, which will then make him panic a little bit. But calm and gentle reinforcement quickly gets him back up on his feet and trotting off. Kingston is potty trained (though he needs to learn not to mark) and he does great in a crate next to other greyhounds. He would make a great addition to any pack or, with some patience and training, make an OK only dog as well. He would likely not do well in a condo or apartment though. He is quite vocal and loves to tell you all about it.
